I recently had the pleasure of using Beauty Hopper for my DES in Seoul. The team was really responsive, patient and thorough in answering all of my questions/concerns that I had, from pre-surgery, during and post-surgery.As the surgery approach, they assigned a dedicated consultant for me who organised the transport, clinic appointments (including reminders), accompanied me at the clinic during consultations with the hospital, pre and post-surgery, getting prescription medications, etc. Not only that, they managed to ask the hospital for a post-op treatment that does not normally come as a standard for DES (subject to hospital's discretion). The reality is, if you're considering surgery while in Korea, your odds of success are high, given the highly skilled surgeons there. However, I believe what's even more crucial is meticulous planning of every other detail related to getting plastic surgery. I started out knowing absolutely nothing about medical tourism in Korea… only that as a Korean-born but American-raised woman— I was not as confident that I would find high quality results in the US. I contacted MANY, many medical tourism organizations and even the “big” ones like doc-finder-k. Let me just be straight and direct to help everyone else take the guess work and save you a TON of time. Use Beauty Hopper: don’t waste time trying to figure out if they are legit, trying to take a big cut, or if they are trustworthy etc.., I never imagined I would ever be one to travel to a foreign country to so something like this, but it was a great decision. When I moved to Korea in 2018, I was drawn to the beauty industry and worked with some of the country’s leading plastic surgery clinics. While the surgeries were world-class, I saw something missing. Absolutely, we take pride in being a government-licensed medical tourism provider accredited by the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare. In fact, all legitimate medical tourism companies must be registered under the Ministry — and it’s very important to check this when doing your research, as unfortunately there are many unlicensed operators. Working with an unlicensed company means you have no protection as a patient.

☁ Do I need to pay a deposit?

If you would like to secure your surgery spot, you will need to pay a deposit. Most clinics usually require 10% of the total surgery fee. The deposit will be deducted from your total surgery cost upon arrival.

Beauty Hopper charges a one-time USD 100 initial consultation fee. This covers your personalized case review, clinic and doctor matching, treatment planning, and dedicated guidance throughout the consultation process.

We do not add hidden markups or inflate clinic pricing. Procedure quotes remain transparent, and in some cases we may also help secure available promotions or added benefits.

If you would like to book in-person consultations only without a pre-booked surgery slot, additional coordination fees may apply. This is because arranging consultations requires schedule management, translation support, staff coordination, and dedicated time reserved with clinics on your behalf.

We receive many proposals from clinics in Korea. However, not all are accepted into our network. As a licensed medical tourism provider, our selection process is extremely strict — because nothing matters more than our patients’ safety, results, and overall experience. We partner only with clinics that consistently deliver excellent outcomes and uphold the highest safety standards. More importantly, we don’t just choose the clinic, we choose the doctor. Our patients are matched with experienced, skilled surgeons whose results we have personally witnessed, and we take proactive steps to ensure they are never assigned to less experienced doctors by the clinic.
